30 Days of Kink: Day 4

Any early experiences that, in retrospect, hint at your kinks?

Well, I’ve mentioned before that I
discovered porn at an early age. But none of the softcore I watched as a child really got very kinky. If anything, I think that early introduction to arousal may have helped me to keep an open mind about all things sexual as I got older.

Other than the porn, I can’t think of anything I saw or did as a child that may have influenced my current predilections. I’ve heard stories from people who remember being spanked as a child and liking it. Or instead of having tea parties they would tie their stuffed animals up. And they say things like, “Looking back on it, I was never vanilla.” or, “I guess that should have been my [or, ‘my parents’] first clue.”

I don’t really have anything like that. I don’t recall ever enjoying it when my parents punished me, whether it was a spanking or otherwise. I acted out sex with my Barbies and Ken, but it was pretty plain, vanilla sex like in the porn I’d seen. I vaguely remember my sister and I doing some inappropriate touching, but I realized fairly quickly that this was weird and wrong. And I never played any kind of “you show me yours and I’ll show you mine” games with other kids I knew.

  1. Hmm…I also discovered porn at a young age. I remember getting on AOL and “cybering” with what I assumed were hot young girls on the other end. I’m a fairly kinky person but I would mainly attribute that to a very high sex drive. I’m a 26 year old male semi pro cyclist. Countless of hours of exercise a week contribute to a very high testosterone level which makes for a more aggressive sex drive. To be honest, if it’s sex related then I’m probably down. 😉
